Flower Series

Carved forms, made for use

The Flower Series began as an exploration of softness, weight, and carved form.
Seats are shaped slowly by hand, allowing each hollow, edge, and transition to develop through direct contact with the timber. The forms are not drawn into perfect symmetry or industrial repetition. They emerge through the resistance of the material, the behaviour of the tools, and the judgement of the hand.
Though sculptural in presence, each piece is built for use. Traditional chair-making logic and durable timber joinery provide strength, while the carved surfaces invite touch, weight, and daily contact.
