Description
The 2-Bloom Bench extends the Flower language into a shared structure — two carved forms held in quiet tension across a single horizontal plane.
Hand-shaped from solid Australian hardwood using axe, adze, scorps, rasps, scrapers, and hand planes, each bloom develops through the resistance of the material rather than pre-determined geometry. Traditional chair-making logic and wedged through-tenon joinery provide mechanical integrity without concealed metal fittings.
The bench carries the sculptural presence of the Flower Series while offering a more architectural and spatial form. It is suited to entry spaces, bedrooms, dining interiors, gallery settings, hospitality environments, and private collections where furniture is asked to hold both function and presence.
Each carved surface remains visibly shaped by hand. Tool marks, softened hollows, timber grain, checks, and subtle irregularities are held openly within the final object.
Made individually to order. Slight variation in gesture, surface, and proportion is inherent to the process.

Patina and Natural finishes are available by enquiry.
