Botanical form, architectural restraint
The Ginkgo Series explores a quieter botanical language within the studio’s seating practice.
Broad carved backrests give each piece its visual identity, while softened seats, tapered legs, and visible timber structure keep the forms grounded in use. The series is designed around balance: sculptural without excess, refined without becoming delicate, and functional without losing presence.
The ginkgo reference is held lightly. Rather than directly imitating the leaf, each piece translates its broad fan-like gesture into a supportive timber form shaped by hand, proportion, and material resistance.
The result is a series of seating works with a calm botanical presence — suited to dining settings, bars, hospitality interiors, and architectural spaces where furniture is asked to feel both useful and quietly distinctive.
